Studio XL won't start due to missing vid.dll

Immediately after launching InstaLOD Studio XL the window with message appears:

"The code execution cannot proceed because vid.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem".

After that you have only one choice to push button OK, and after that the message window disappears and that is all. Reinstalling doesn't help.

The system is:
Microsoft Windows 10 Home
64-based PC, ASUSTek
Processor Intel I5-8250U
Intel Built-in graphics (Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620).

As I understand vid.dll is the library from Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualization Infrastructure Driver Library that is installed by default on servers.

So, maybe anybody can advice how to fix this problem?

Hello,

The next update for InstaLOD Studio has the dependency for the vid.dll removed. While I can't provide an ETA, the next release will happen very soon.

Unfortunately, there is currently no workaround besides installing a Windows version with extended Hyper-V tool support.
