About this document
InstaLOD Grid is accessible through an intuitive web interface that allows users to securely process tasks through their browser of choice.
You can also connect to InstaLOD Grid through one of the InstaLOD Plugins or directly inside of InstaLOD Studio.
Setting it up
Open a web browser and enter the IP and the port of an InstaLOD Grid Server running in your network. You will be prompted to enter the login credentials to access an account.
User credentials for InstaLOD Grid are configured by the server administrator. They are not related to your InstaLOD Cloud account.
To submit a task, select 'Create Task' and take the following steps:
- Upload Mesh - Choose a file to process
- Upload Dependencies (Optional) - Textures or other files to be stored in the task package
- Set Profile - Choose between available profiles and select an output file format
- Set Meta Data (Optional) - Name your task and add a description
-
Finalize - Once the configuration of the task is complete, it can be finalized. The task is primed and queued for processing.
You can only access tasks that are created with your account. This provides additional security when processing data.
