How to deactivate license and activate on a new machine

To activate a license on a new machine, the license first needs to be deactivated from the previous machine. This can be done either from the machine itself using any of our integrations or standalone applications such as InstaLOD Studio. Alternatively, you can also deactivate a machine from an InstaLOD Cloud account - simply log in and go to 'Machine Activations'.

 

Deactivate license from InstaLOD Studio

• Go to Help->Manage License

Deactivate license from InstaLOD Pipeline

• Run 'InstaLODCMD -deauthorize'

Deactivate license from InstaLOD Integrations

• Setup ->Deauthorize

Deactivate the license from InstaLODCloud:

• Machine Activations -> Select License -> Deactivate

When using InstaLOD on the new computer, you'll be asked to enter your credentials when starting one of our integrations.
Please note it will take 24 hours until you will be able to authorize another machine. 

Deauthorization takes 24 hours to complete. Until the deauthorization cycle is fully complete the seat/node will remain locked and cannot be used to activate another machine.
