How to display the Machine Key of my computer?

The machine key is used to pair an InstaLOD license to a device. Identifying the machine key of your device can be helpful to understand how and where your licenses are used.  

Displaying the Machine Key using InstaLOD Studio

To acquire the machine key of the target machine click 'Help' in InstaLOD Studio's main menu and select 'Manage License'. The machine key will be displayed in the 'Offline Authorization' panel.

Displaying the Machine Key using DCC integrations

When using InstaLOD for Autodesk Maya or InstaLOD for Autodesk 3ds Max, the machine key can be found within the 'Setup' tab if the computer has not been authorized yet. If the computer is already authorized, it is necessary to deauthorize the computer before the machine key can be displayed. The machine key is displayed in the 'Offline Activation' panel.

Displaying the Machine Key using InstaLOD Pipeline

With InstaLOD Pipeline the machine key of the computer can be displayed from the command line. To display the machine key, simply use the  -machineKey argument:
