About this document
InstaLOD licenses are comprised of a variety of entitlements that are activated depending on which license has been purchased. A license entitlement can correspond to a group of products such as the DCC tool and game engine integrations or to individual features such as CAD file import.
Missing license entitlements
Trying to use products or features that require missing license entitlements causes errors. For example, starting InstaLOD Pipeline from the command line with program arguments that enable mesh processing outputs the following message: "Host not entitled for InstaLOD Pipeline".
To discuss the addition of entitlements to your license, please reach out to your account manager, or if you don't know who that is, write an email to sales@InstaLOD.com.
InstaLOD Pipeline as processing back end
InstaLOD Pipeline is required as a processing back end for DCC tool integrations such as InstaLOD for Autodesk Maya or InstaLOD for Autodesk 3ds Max. If your license does not include the InstaLOD Pipeline entitlement, you are still able to download the application from InstaLOD Cloud and use it in conjunction with the plugins.
